Site Reliability Engineer - Scalability Expert

Your Responsibilities:

  • Contribute best-in-class skills to secure, monitor, and operate highly innovative, horizontally & vertically scalable applications.
  • Support the software design process for non-functional requirements like security, performance, scalability, stability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps teams to improve systems and tools provided.
  • Connect with our company-wide Site Reliability Engineer community to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and learn together.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in operating large and complex deployments.
  • Experience in containerization (Docker & Kubernetes).
  • Experience in cloud-native deployments to Kubernetes with tools like Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, or similar.
  • Experience in cloud-native monitoring/alerting with Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Programming or scripting knowledge.
  • Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MariaDB.

Soft Skills:

  • Experience dealing with cross-functional and cross-geographic teams and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Fluent English skills (written and oral).
  • Experience in defining and evangelizing the use of best-in-class Site Reliability Engineer patterns and tools.
  • Strong team player with coaching and mentoring skills, recognized as an expert within the company.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in complex environments.
  • Able to work effectively under schedule pressure.
