Your contribution:

Contribute best-in-class skills to secure, monitor and operate highly innovative, horizontally & vertically scalable applications

Support the software design process for non-functional-requirements like security, performance, scalability, stability, and maintainability

Together with your team, you take responsibility for the availability, reliability and efficiency of the production systems and monitor this through appropriate monitoring and alerting tools like Grafana and Prometheus

Closely collaborate with the relevant DevOps teams to improve the systems and tools provided

Connect with our company-wide Site Reliability Engineer community to exchange ideas, share knowledge and learn together

Qualifications:

1 year of experience in operation of large and complex deployments

Experience in Containerization (Docker & Kubernetes)

Experience in cloud native deployments to Kubernetes with one of the following tools, Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD or similar tools

Experience in cloud native monitoring /alerting with Prometheus and Grafana

Programming or scripting knowledge

Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MariaDB

Soft Skills:

Experience dealing with cross-functional and cross-geographic teams and interpersonal communication skills are required to interact with the DevOps and Development Teams

Fluent English skills (written and oral)

Experience in defining and evangelizing the use of best-in-class Site Reability Engineer patterns and tools

Strong team player with coaching and mentoring skills, recognized as an expert within the company

Strong problem-solving skills in complex environments

Able to work effectively under schedule pressure to provide fixes, resolve/handle outages, create new pipeline steps, set up new projects and diagnose production issues (sometimes all in one day) without getting flustered

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills - enthusiasm for learning - strong work ethic
