Machinery Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Machinery Engineer to join our dynamic team at DNV. As a Graduate Engineer, you will play a key role in our Approval Centre Europe, working on machinery systems like 2- and 4-stroke engines, turbochargers, fuel cells, and pressure vessels.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct approval of ship systems against DNV classification rules and international regulations (IGF-code)
- Collaborate with manufacturers, yards, design offices, and ship managers to ensure compliance with regulations
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in machinery systems
- Represent the section internally and externally, communicating with customers worldwide
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automation/Electrical Technology
- Strong team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
- Service-minded, proactive, solution-oriented, and flexible with high professional and personal integrity
- Good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing; knowledge of German language is highly preferred
