About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior/Expert Project Manager to lead our multi-cultural and diverse team in a demanding and challenging co-development project with Google. The project involves deploying BTP services on Google's new IaaS layer GDC air-gapped (GDC-A). This is a multi-year, multi-million dollar project that requires strong leadership and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the co-development project between Google and SAP.
- Facilitate and orchestrate multiple SteerCos, including a Joint SteerCo between Google and SAP, an SAP internal Executive SteerCo, and an SAP Internal Co-Dev Project SteerCo.
- Manage the project to stay on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Lead and inspire a multi-cultural and diverse team and its managers without authority.
- Navigate a changing landscape of demanding customers and internal challenges with tact, secrecy, and polite firmness.
Requirements
- 8+ years of total professional working experience, with 6+ years as a program and/or project manager.
- Experience dealing with SAP and customers at CxO level.
- Comprehensive understanding of SAP BTP/T&I services and their development.
- Commercialization and Go-To-Market experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a can-do mindset, proactivity, creativity, and a solution-oriented approach.
- True team player with the ability to influence, inspire, and lead without authority.
- Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills, with the ability to connect people and topics.
- Large network in T&I and other board areas.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, with other languages a plus.
- Creative thinking, willingness, and ability to learn quickly new concepts and technologies.
