Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydropower Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Voith Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the technical execution of hydropower control system projects based on Siemens and Rockwell control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop system concepts based on project tenders and customer-specific requirements.
  • Be responsible for hardware and software engineering during the entire planning phase.
  • Create PLC programs as well as visualization solutions.
  • Plan the communication and network systems taking into account cyber security requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines and quality.
  • Create technical documentation for signal lists, requirement specifications, and final documentation.
  • Be responsible for the commissioning of control systems worldwide.
Requirements
  • Degree in electrical engineering, automation, or information technology.
  • Experience with Siemens PCS7 / Rockwell Studio 0; knowledge of MS Office.
  • Very good German and English language skills; further foreign language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, French) are advantageous.
  • Result-oriented, ability to analyze and work in a team as well as loyalty and a high level of commitment and initial intercultural experience.
  • Unlimited readiness for regular and, if necessary, longer business trips and assignments on construction sites worldwide.
