Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Travel Sales Consultant to join our team at DB Vertrieb GmbH in Freising. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support across our entire product range.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized customer consultations and sales support to meet customer needs and exceed sales targets
  • Ensure compliance with our sales and quality standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Assist customers in transitioning to digital channels, providing expert guidance on our products and services
  • Support customers in purchasing tickets through various distribution channels, ensuring seamless customer experiences
  • Make informed decisions within established frameworks, serving as the primary point of contact for customer concerns and refunds
  • Provide helpful assistance with non-railway-related issues, demonstrating a customer-centric approach

Your Ideal Profile:

  • Completion of a commercial apprenticeship or relevant experience in a travel sales or customer service role
  • Strong geographical knowledge, customer-oriented behavior, and excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and an additional language is highly desirable
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
