Purchasing Manager in Mechanical Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team at Arenta Personaldienstleistungen GmbH. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality materials and components for our clients in the mechanical engineering industry.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement of Technical Components: Source and purchase technical components, including drawings and specifications, for our clients in the mechanical engineering industry.
- Lieferant Selection and Qualification: Evaluate and select qualified suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and components.
- Quote Evaluation and Negotiation: Analyze and evaluate quotes from suppliers, negotiate prices and terms, and ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Order Management and Inventory Control: Manage orders, track inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of materials and components to our clients.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct quality control checks on received materials and components to ensure they meet client specifications and requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Technical Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field.
- Procurement Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the mechanical engineering industry.
- Contract Management: Experience with contract management, including negotiation and administration of contracts.
- ERP System Proficiency: Proficient in ERP systems, including SAP or similar software.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
