Security Architect

EoT Labs is at the forefront of harnessing modern technology to build a global, borderless, machine economy that works for all humans on earth.
The Head of Security will play a critical role in upholding the security of peaq products, from conceptual design to completion. This involves ensuring the security of individual applications, as well as the broader landscape of blockchain network security.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a security lead with a focus on blockchain security mechanisms and smart contract security.
- Experience in security architecture, particularly with respect to applications building on top of blockchain networks.
- Hands-on experience implementing security protocols for both pallets and smart contracts.
- Strong understanding of cryptographic security mechanisms and experience in conducting smart contract audits or pallets.
- Proficiency in using blockchain analytics tools for security monitoring and forensics.
- Experience in blockchain-specific incident response and threat intelligence, including real-time monitoring of network activities and anomaly detection.
- Understanding of network security and secure coding practices.
- Ability to build and contribute to high-impact projects in a new industry that will positively shape the lives of hundreds of millions of people.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- 4+ years' experience in security leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of blockchain-specific security mechanisms and smart contract security.
- Experience in security architecture and secure coding practices.
- Hands-on experience in implementing security protocols for blockchain-based applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
