Hydraulic System Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic System Design Specialist to join our team at Leifeld Metal Spinning. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing hydraulic systems that meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

• Design and develop hydraulic systems according to specifications, including calculating and dimensioning components, and creating circuit diagrams in EPLAN P8 and SolidWorks.
• Liaise with suppliers to source materials and equipment, and collaborate with the construction team to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Advise mechanical and electrical designers on hydraulic system design, and provide technical support to other departments as needed.
• Support fitters, service technicians, and customers during commissioning and maintenance of systems.

• Successful completion of a university education in engineering or equivalent professional training.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience in hydraulics is desirable, but not essential; knowledge of EPLAN fluid and SolidWorks is an advantage.
• Excellent German language skills and good English language proficiency.
