About you and this role
We are looking for Quality Specialist in Ahlen, Germany. As Quality Specialist you will be leading and executes various aspects of the site quality program to enable the facility to profitably meet customer and product regulatory requirements. Your role enhances front line knowledge and accountability for quality across key roles and promotes a customer-focused culture within the site. You require conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline.
Responsibilities
- Implements and maintains the site quality program
- Provides an effective interface between customers and the plant to ensure consistent high quality service to customers. Represents the customer in internal discussions.
- Acts as plant interface in cross-functional relationships, services and flow of information between the plant and the customer, and functions related to the product quality/regulatory requirements related to the quality management system.
- Monitors effectiveness of the quality management system and identifies improvement opportunities to enhance productivity of system elements.
- Generates quality data to drive product quality improvements.
- Leads plant and/or site-level (includes cross-functional) management of change activities related to product quality.
- Ensures plant Operating Discipline system, procedures and guidelines meet quality system requirements, as appropriate and serves as element focal point for the quality requirements of the Operating Discipline Management System.
- Trains and provides guidance to plant and other roles that impact product quality on customer and product regulatory requirements, and the use of supporting quality tools and processes to achieve plant and business goals.
- Identifies and leads product quality improvement opportunities and problem-solving efforts at the plant level, as determined through data analysis, customer feedback, continual improvement projects, and other quality-related programs.
- Leads improvements to Quality Management System including documentation of optimized processes.
- Participates in customers Audits of the Quality Management System.
- Follow-up to customer questions and complaints with other functions
- Introduction of new products (quality aspects)
- Identify and leads reduction in Analysis Time, Batch Corrections and Off Spec batches together with other functions.
- Manages the plant quality system audit program and conducts internal and third party audits, in conjunction with Business strategies, leveraging findings to drive continual improvement.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree relevant to chemistry, quality management or manufacturing.
- Less than 3 years of professional working experience
- Good working knowledge of English and German.
