IT Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to join our team at ALDI DX. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems and data.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security, with experience in implementing and maintaining security measures, as well as identifying and mitigating potential threats.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position based in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, with opportunities for mobile working within Germany.
You will work closely with our international and national teams to ensure that IT security is considered in all projects and initiatives.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assuming responsibility in an IT security expert role who ensures that our IT systems and processes are secure and protected, whether in our stores, warehouses, administrative departments, online or when analyzing data.
- Planning innovative IT security solutions together with other departments to protect our systems and data from current and future threats.
- Continuously monitoring and evaluating IT security measures within your own area of responsibility to ensure that they comply with the latest standards and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A successfully completed degree in computer science or comparable qualification with a focus on IT security.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT security, including current technologies, standards and best practices (focus on Microsoft and Azure).
- Experience in integrating IT security solutions and implementing IT security measures.
We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including:
