Job Description

  • Conduct in-depth policy analysis and research on carbon dioxide removal (CDR) technologies and their implementation across different national contexts.
  • Collaborate with international researchers and experts to develop high-quality reports, data products, and engagement activities on CDR progress.
  • Develop and lead articles in esteemed peer-reviewed journals contributing to the underlying evidence base of the State of CDR project.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in CDR technologies and policies, incorporating new insights into research and analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field such as climate science, environmental science, economics, or social sciences.
  • Proven experience in data collection, analysis, and research, preferably in a climate-related field.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills in English.
  • Strong scientific writing skills with a good track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
