Product Intelligence Sensory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Intelligence Sensory Manager to join our R&D Tobacco Product Development team in Trier, Germany.
About the RoleThis is a key position that will drive consumer-centric product development by applying advanced statistical analysis to sensory and consumer data. The ideal candidate will have experience with AI and machine learning applications in sensory science or related fields.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze product sensory and related consumer data to inform product development decisions.
- Develop and implement customized testing methodologies to optimize sensory panel evaluations.
- Investigate and identify potential applications of GenAI in data analysis and consolidation of sensory data.
- Establish and manage global sensory panels to ensure high-quality evaluations.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Sensory Science, Food Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Practical experience in fast-moving consumer goods industries, reduced risk products, and sensory panel evaluation.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP, R, SPSS, Python).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and any other language is advantageous.
