Job Title: Product Intelligence Sensory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Intelligence Sensory Manager to join our R&D Tobacco Product Development team in Trier, Germany.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving consumer-centric product development by analyzing product sensory and related consumer data. They will utilize advanced statistical tools to report on CAT and QDA projects, create product intelligence related to consumer needs, and focus product development targets towards liking direction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze product sensory and related consumer data to inform product development decisions
  • Develop and implement customized testing methodologies to optimize sensory panel evaluations
  • Investigate and identify potential applications of GenAI in data analysis and consolidation of sensory data and consumer insights
  • Establish and manage global sensory panels and sensory panel evaluations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Sensory Science, Food Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
  • Practical experience in fast-moving consumer goods industries, reduced risk products, and sensory panel evaluation and consumer testing
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis (e.g., JMP, R, SPSS, Python)
  • Understanding of quantitative and qualitative research tools and methodologies
