Clinical Study Manager Role

In this pivotal role as Clinical Study Manager within Clinical Operations Europe, you will play a crucial part in planning and conducting research, development, and post-marketing studies. As a veterinary expert, you will work closely with internal customers in a global environment and be responsible for the health management of animals on stock, ensuring study conduction complies with Animal Welfare requirements and local regulations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Veterinary health management of animals on stock at the Animal Center Monheim in accordance with official and Animal Welfare requirements
  • Serving as a responsible Study Manager/Investigator on internal and external research and development studies (GRP, GCP, GLP standard)
  • Organizing and coordinating study activities with other involved technical functions (laboratory technicians)
  • Establishing study protocols and reports
  • Supporting internal customers (project teams in research and development) in interpreting, overseeing, and monitoring study results, as well as supporting submissions to authorities
  • Closely collaborating with department peers and global colleagues, as well as third-party providers (CROs), to ensure efficient internal and external study conduction
  • Participating in the establishment of animal trial permits (Versuchsvorhaben) and monitoring related compliance during studies
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety & environment- and laboratory standards through involvement in internal trainings

Your Qualifications and Requirements

  • Veterinarian with sound veterinary medicine experience in working with small animals or farm animals, preferably both
  • Strong interest in gaining experience in animal health research and development activities
  • Experience with different GxP standards (GSP, GCP, GLP) preferred
  • Good organizational ability and time management skills
  • High sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within and across interdisciplinary and global teams
  • Good English and German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in MS-Office applications
  • Will to accept on-call duties approximately one weekend every second month

Compensation Package

This fixed-duration contract offers an estimated annual salary of approximately €80,000 - €100,000, depending on qualifications and experience, plus benefits such as:
