Financial Director

Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Director at Elanco, you will be responsible for delivering detailed financial reports to management on a monthly and quarterly basis. This will involve ensuring compliance with external manufacturing contracts, fostering key relationships, and supporting annual audits.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Coordinate forecasting and planning for Global External Manufacturing, encompassing long-range plans, annual business plans, and forecasts.
• Present financial plans to supply chain and financial management, oversee product costing and pricing assumptions, and collaborate with management on financial budgets, targets, and operational plans.

Strategic Initiatives:

• Collaborate with supply chain, Elanco, and external manufacturing partners on strategic initiatives, providing financial analysis and support for business development, contract negotiations, and strategic facilities planning.
• Influence key decisions and advocate for product and contract manufacturer rationalization aligned with gross margin strategies.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Lead financial projects and analyses, including business development, product cost analysis, and integration of new sourcing arrangements into Elanco infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in financial roles supporting business partners.
• Skills: Strong analytical abilities and strategic thinking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or equivalent business experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and cultures.

Additional Information:

• Travel: Up to 20% annually.
• Location: Global Elanco Headquarters - Greenfield, IN - Hybrid Work Environment.
