The Job Opportunity
Serco Middle East is a leading organization in the region, seeking experienced professionals to deliver structural rescue and fire fighting services at client facilities across the UAE.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be physically and medically fit, with a minimum of one (1) year work experience in a similar role. They will be responsible for operating fire pumps and other firefighting systems, carrying out firefighter duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out duties as a Breathing Apparatus wearer and BA entry control officer, as detailed by the duty Crew Manager.
- Drive fire tenders and operate fire pumps and fixed firefighting systems at facilities involving flammables and hazardous materials.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure their availability for structural duties, reporting any deficiencies to the duty Crew Manager.
- Participate in scheduled drills and tactical exercises, and respond to major emergencies following Emergency Management Procedures.
- Operate a range of fire vehicles and associated equipment, under the direction of the Crew Manager.

Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year operational experience as a Firefighter.
- Qualification from accredited training providers, such as NFPA 1, 2 and 3.
- Preferred to hold a clean light and heavy vehicle driving license issued in the UAE or within GCC Countries.
- Medically and physically fit for operational duty.
