About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead for Software Engineering to join our team at Roche in Ludwigsburg. As a key member of our Pre-Analytics new Development department, you will lead a team of software engineers and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop an intercultural team of software engineers, software architects, and product owners with a focus on software and firmware solutions.
  • Work closely with other areas of the organization, including engineering, product and project management, production, and customer service, as well as external suppliers and development partners.
  • Support the development of software along the entire product life cycle, from requirements to verification and product maintenance, and contribute to the enhancement of our product roadmap and IP portfolio.
  • Commit to the continuous improvement of processes, best practices, and tools used.

Your Profile

  • A university degree in software engineering or a related field of study or a similar qualification.
  • An in-depth background and many years of experience in software development, including embedded firmware, application software, and software architecture.
  • Successful demonstration of skills and abilities by taking a leading role in several developments of complex software solutions.
  • A high level of social competence, leadership experience, and the ability to communicate precisely and efficiently in German and/or English (C1 level).
  • Experience in agile coaching and designing agile development projects and the ability to work in a challenging, dynamic, and constantly changing environment.
