Digital Manufacturing Operations Leader

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a roadmap for UNS, SCADA+, and MES systems aligned with Knauf's strategic objectives
  • Create globally aligned specifications based on input from operators, middle management, specialists, and interdepartmental stakeholders
  • Design detailed specifications to ensure seamless development and oversee implementation in collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Implement solutions in plants, train personnel, and identify improvements for future updates
  • Present clear results, propose business solutions, and collaborate effectively with Business and IT teams to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Engineer, preferably with additional education in industrial management
  • Strong communicator and listener with the ability to convince people to work within aligned standards
  • Able to understand the intricacies of processes without losing sight of the big picture
  • Capable of supporting advanced automation and data science teams with minimal travel
  • Lead by example, demonstrating high team spirit and a proactive approach
