This position is part of the Applied Analysis group under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marita Thomas at Freie Universität Berlin. The group focuses on developing and applying mathematical methods to solve real-world problems. As a researcher in this group, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and collaborate with a team of experts in the field. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in Applied Analysis and contribute to the development of new mathematical methods and models.
  • Collaborate with the research team to design and implement research projects.
  • Develop and maintain mathematical software and tools to support research activities.
  • Communicate research results through publications and presentations.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Strong background in Applied Analysis and mathematical modeling.
  • Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python or MATLAB.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
