Job Description

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer:in or Mechatronics Engineer:in for Maintenance of Overhead Line and Energy Systems (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the locations Rottweil, Eutingen, Horb, Oberndorf, Spaichingen. If you are qualified, you will be internally qualified to: Fahrwegmechaniker:in Elektrotechnik for the area of Overhead Line and Energy Systems at DB InfraGO AG.

Through regular training, you will continuously learn and develop, allowing you to be deployed at new and exciting systems.

Your Tasks:

  • You will participate in our internal qualification program, attend regular training sessions, and continuously learn and develop.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining the overhead line and energy systems in the region around Rottweil together with your team.
  • You will perform inspection and maintenance work on rail line systems (e.g. overhead lines, contact wires, earthing systems) independently.
  • You will inspect various systems such as switch heating systems, lighting systems, transformer stations, and power supply networks at the energy systems.
  • You will ensure the reliable execution of repair and troubleshooting work.
  • Your work will begin and end at your central base, where all necessary materials, equipment, and measuring instruments, as well as vehicles, will be provided.
  • Your high-quality workwear will be provided and cleaned.

Your Profile:

  • You have completed a successful apprenticeship as an Electrical Engineer:in or Mechatronics Engineer:in, as an Industrial Electrician:in, Electrical Installation Technician:in, Electronics Technician:in for Building and Infrastructure Systems, or in a comparable profession.
  • You bring experience in the maintenance and upkeep of technical systems.
  • You are eager to develop and learn new things.
  • You are physically fit and have no problem working at heights and outdoors.
  • You are willing to work shifts (night, weekend, and holiday shifts) and participate in on-call duty.
  • You are characterized by reliability, sense of responsibility, team spirit, and flexibility.
  • It is essential to bring a valid driving license of class B. However, you can also obtain this after starting with us.
