Project Coordinator

Project Overview

This role is responsible for planning and monitoring complex, multi-year EPCI projects through the identification and completion of critical path and parallel work activities to achieve optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project estimates and resource-loaded schedules using Primavera 6/MS Project software.
  • Calculate earned value management reporting parameters.
  • Work directly with project managers and team members to identify and resolve planning and scheduling issues.
  • Monitor, control, consolidate, and provide feedback to project plans.
  • Assist the project management team in preparing project reporting, analysis, and various reporting for management.
  • Conduct project progress monitoring, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts with progress achieved to date.
  • Regularly inform management of problems, issues, and project status against the baseline program.
  • Define and prepare monthly KPIs and reporting in accordance with project requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Science, or Business).
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Proficient in MS Project.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 (preferred).
  • Fluent in English and German.

Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in project controls, primarily in project planning and schedule development on EPCI projects (construction and oil & gas environment appreciated).
  • Working knowledge and experience with Earned Value Management Systems are essential.
  • Experience in defining and producing planning reports/dashboards.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail are essential.
  • Proven track record in successfully planning multi-disciplined projects.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Mature, proactive, resourceful, and hands-on with good initiative.
  • Independent worker able to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Fast worker with ability to work well under stress.
  • Ability to work well as a team player.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Availability to travel (in and out of country) around 20/30% of the time.
