We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate - Bakery at REWE.
About the RoleAs a Sales Associate - Bakery, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your primary focus will be on selling bakery products and providing expert advice on our range of bread, pastries, and other baked goods.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure a high level of product knowledge and be able to make recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the bakery section, and ensure that all products are displayed attractively and are easily accessible to customers.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales targets and provide a seamless shopping experience for customers.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and engaging shopping environment.
- Previous experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
