Senior Engineering Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to join our OS Platform domain in Berlin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company.

Job Responsibilities
  • Bootstrap a high-performing mobile team to ensure business objectives are met as a team.
  • Raise the bar in hiring and growing a diverse team by collaborating with the talent team and other engineering leaders.
  • Build, lead, and empower a user-centric team that delivers best-in-class internal and external user satisfaction.
  • Define a mission, vision, and roadmap for your team in collaboration with your product partner.
  • Own end-to-end production, quality, and delivery while maintaining positive team engagement scores.
  • Set standards and exceed security, reliability, performance, and scalability requirements.
  • Drive continuous process improvements for managing, documenting, staffing, and reviewing engineering projects and services.
  • Mentor and coach team members to help them grow professionally.
  • Participate in architecture reviews to ensure solutions meet Doctolib quality standards.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years of management experience.
  • Experience scaling and leading a technical organization (5+ members) while implementing best-in-class methodologies.
  • Strong technical skills with a track record of working in a monolith and building capabilities outside of it in a scalable way.
  • Experience building, testing, and operating scalable mobile apps in production.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and translate company goals into team objectives.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately €120,000 - €150,000, depending on experience and location. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of responsibility, required skills, and the cost of living in Berlin.
