Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to join our dynamic SaaS company in a remote work environment. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining an automated and forward-thinking finance department. Your primary focus will be on analyzing financial data, identifying optimization opportunities, and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement efficient financial processes and procedures to drive business growth.
  • Analyze and optimize costs, as well as existing financial processes, to achieve increased efficiency.
  • Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as external audits.
  • Oversee intercompany transactions and transfer pricing, as well as participate in monthly consolidations of all group companies.
  • Represent the finance team in external communications with partners and collaborate closely with internal departments.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Several years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Fundamental knowledge of financial accounting according to HGB, with optional IFRS experience.
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with financial tools, ideally DATEV.
  • Strong analytical skills, quick understanding, and a hands-on mentality.
  • A self-motivated and structured work approach.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
