About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our Platform Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elevate observability by enabling engineering teams with sophisticated Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Real User Monitoring (RUM), and Infrastructure Monitoring.
  • Enhance and streamline our alerting systems, driving towards a proactive and actionable incident response paradigm.
  • Implement and upgrade efficient logging systems, maintaining stringent security and privacy standards.
  • Manage and optimize our primary data stores alongside secure and efficient disaster recovery (DR) mechanisms.
Requirements
  • Solve problems and deliver customer value.
  • Have working knowledge of administrating Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience in Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Real User Monitoring (RUM), Infrastructure Monitoring, and other observability tools.
  • Have a deep understanding of public cloud providers, with a strong preference for experience with Azure.
  • Build and maintain distributed services with Kotlin/Java.
  • Familiarity with cloud automation tools like Terraform is also highly valued.
  • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL.
  • Experienced in managing secure secrets with e.g. HashiCorp Vault or Azure Key Vault.
  • Take ownership and drive topics.
  • Work in a product and customer-focused team.
