Data Science Leader

Our current focus areas include customer acquisition and retention, product pricing, logistics optimization, and on-site user experience improvement through search and recommendation.
Your Responsibilities- You will partner closely with stakeholders to deeply understand current business challenges and identify opportunities for value creation.
- You will build end-to-end data science and machine learning solutions that directly address customer needs.
- You will lead the development of our recommendations and personalization strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable outcomes.
- You will integrate and benchmark different recommendation solutions, including third-party options, to enhance our customer experience.
- You will stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data science and machine learning, bringing new ideas and techniques to the team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- You have significant industry experience (5-8 years) in building and deploying large-scale recommendation systems, preferably within an e-commerce context.
- You have a strong understanding of common machine learning and statistics techniques, with proven application in real-world scenarios.
- You have a good knowledge of the Python data science ecosystem, SQL, relational databases, and modern development tools and workflows.
- You have hands-on experience in launching production-level machine learning models, with a solid understanding of cloud-based infrastructure (preferably AWS).
- You are skilled in designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests to make data-driven decisions.
- You are able to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on goals and expectations.
