Global Head of Infection Prevention and Control

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Infection Prevention and Control efforts as the Global Head of Infection Prevention and Control. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and expertise in infection prevention and control to ensure the highest level of patient safety across all product lifecycles.
- Develop and implement effective infection prevention and control strategies to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Clinical Trials, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure that infection prevention and control considerations are integrated into all product development and lifecycle management activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, public health authorities, and other external stakeholders on infection prevention and control matters.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, consultants, and advisors in the field of infection prevention and control.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for infection prevention and control activities, including research, testing, and validation of reprocessing methods.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific and clinical developments in infection prevention and control and apply this knowledge to inform strategic decisions and drive innovation.
- Advanced postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as medicine, public health, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in infection prevention and control, with a strong background in clinical infectious diseases or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience in a large-scale clinical setting or a team of clinical professionals focused on infection prevention.
- Experience managing or supervising a high-complexity reprocessing research and testing validation laboratory.
- Strong knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and experience with manual cleaning, high-level disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopes and surgical devices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
