We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Infection Prevention and Control efforts as the Global Head of Infection Prevention and Control. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and expertise in infection prevention and control to ensure the highest level of patient safety across all product lifecycles.
- Develop and implement effective infection prevention and control strategies to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Clinical Trials, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure that infection prevention and control considerations are integrated into all product development and lifecycle management activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, public health authorities, and other external stakeholders on infection prevention and control matters.
- Lead the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with infection prevention and control regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and benefit-risk evaluations to inform decision-making on infection prevention and control matters.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest infection prevention and control research, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that our organization remains at the forefront of best practices.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as medicine, public health, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in infection prevention and control, with a strong background in clinical leadership and patient safety.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective infection prevention and control strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct risk assessments and benefit-risk evaluations.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 20-30% of the time.
