To achieve this goal, the Marketplace Abuse team relies on identifying and preventing abuse for our customers and brand owners.
We are looking for a Risk Manager to take ownership of critical and high-impact global events and escalations.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about ensuring customers can make informed purchase decisions and that brand owners and sellers using Amazon are successful in listing and selling their products.
Your decisions will play a crucial role in protecting customers and sellers, as well as maintaining the health of the Amazon catalog and product listings ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement program strategies to deliver results.
- Lead and support teams in responding to, investigating, managing, and resolving high-impact incidents and escalations related to product authenticity and safety issues.
- Take a leading role in drafting and presenting in-depth documents, including responses to senior executives and Correction of Errors (COE) reports.
- Analyze existing policy and process gaps, and develop solutions to close them.
- Own and/or manage projects designed to improve operational and process efficiency, including data analysis and collaboration with external teams.
- Closely monitor media and global events to anticipate and mitigate potential risks, using data to analyze trends, predict, and fix problems before they occur.
- Exercise high-level judgment to own complex enforcement decisions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience handling confidential information.
- Experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements.
- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials.
- Experience with SQL and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with research and investigation skills or equivalent.
