Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at GLOVIS Europe GmbH. As a key member of our Quality and Claims department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Establish Quality Procedures: Develop and implement quality procedures, standards, and specifications to meet customer requirements.
- Review Customer Requirements: Analyze customer needs and establish processes to meet those requirements.
- Standardize Manufacturing Processes: Standardize manufacturing or production processes, as well as quality processes, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Manage Cases: Manage cases related to damages occurred during transportation/handling/movement of vehicles, including transport damages, road accidents, yard accidents, and environment accidents.
- Analyze Cases: Analyze cases based on presented documents/facts to determine liable parties, damage amounts, and compensation.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Communicate with business partners, customers, and logistics service providers (LSPs) to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
- Process Improvement: Analyze processes and suggest improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Financial Management: Create, check, and book incoming/outgoing invoices, as well as create reports, statistics, KPI files, and flow charts.
- Evaluate Service Performance: Evaluate business partners' service performance based on KPIs.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Relevant Education and Experience: Successful completion of vocational training or a degree in logistics or a similar field, with relevant experience in damage and quality management in the finished vehicle sector.
- Commercial and Transport Law Knowledge: Working knowledge of commercial law, transport law, and transport regulations.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with fluency in any Eastern European language a plus.
- Software Skills: Advanced knowledge of MS Office software.
- Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation and persuading skills, strong analytical thinking, and a general interest in international logistics services and the automotive industry.
