Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Go Backend Developer to join our Core & Integrations team in Hamburg, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of our backend written in Go and maintain our microservice architecture used to communicate with our frontend.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain our Go backend, working closely with our frontend team to ensure seamless communication.
- Collaborate with our Data Science team to solve complex math problems used to optimize our ML algorithms.
- Be responsible for collecting and aggregating billions of daily API events in our Kafka and Kinesis streams.
- Work effectively with key-value databases (Redis, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Scylla) and optimize their use for high-volume traffic.
- Profile and optimize Go applications to identify bottlenecks and improve performance.
- Work on a large Go application with a considerable amount of traffic (over 100 million requests per day).
- 8+ years of experience in software development.
- 5+ years of experience building web applications in Go.
- Experience working with key-value databases and optimizing their use for high-volume traffic.
- Proficiency in profiling and optimizing Go applications.
- Experience working on large Go applications with high traffic.
- Open to relocating to Hamburg, Germany.
