Senior Go Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Go Backend Developer to join our team at AppLike Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend infrastructure using Go.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of our backend written in Go, maintaining our microservice architecture and ensuring reliable asynchronous microservice communication using event buses like Kafka, SQS/SNS, and Kinesis.
  • Work with modern databases such as DynamoDB and Scylla, optimizing queries and data retrieval to deliver fast response times.
  • Collaborate with our Data Science and BI team to identify potential security vulnerabilities and implement mitigations.
  • Develop sophisticated VPN detection capabilities to identify residential proxies.
  • Aggregate billions of daily API events in Kafka and Kinesis streams for querying from the data lake in seconds.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience building web applications in Go.
  • Knowledge of databases, Regular Expressions, HTTP protocol, and Encoding.
  • Understanding of TCP networking and routing on the internet.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform), Docker, and container orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernetes or ECS).
