Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Lab Engineer to join our team at 1KOMMA5° GmbH. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our efforts to develop and optimize our lab environment for testing and integrating solar, battery, heat pump, and EV charging solutions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, assembling, and maintaining test benches for various lab experiments and product evaluations.
  • Conducting hands-on testing using existing test benches, ensuring accurate data collection and proper operation of equipment.
  • Documenting test results, preparing clear and concise reports to support research and development processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree program (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science).
  • Hands-on experience in assembling electrical boards and building circuits, with a strong technical understanding.
  • Basic knowledge of hardware and software testing processes and equipment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
