We are currently seeking a Platform Engineer (m/w/d) with a focus on Kubernetes.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support the operation of a central multi-tenant platform hosting over 80 applications.
  • Enhance and manage areas such as shared enterprise Kubernetes clusters, container storage (Ceph), logging/monitoring, operators (Golang), message brokers (Pub/Sub & Streaming), and service mesh/Istio.
  • Evaluate new technologies and engage in continuous learning.
  • Document best practice approaches and facilitate cross-departmental knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure automation and version-controlled representation of infrastructure as code.
Your Profile
  • Completed studies or training in computer science or a comparable qualification, along with experience in managing enterprise Kubernetes clusters.
  • Proficient in applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (Terraform, Ansible) and automation/manifestation through CI/CD (GitOps, GitFlow).
  • Focus on telemetry and observability (metrics, logging, tracing).
  • Experience with virtual and bare-metal infrastructures.
  • Proficient in container storage technologies (Ceph) and secrets management (Hashicorp Vault).
  • Experience in shell scripting or coding (Python, Golang, BASH).
  • Strong networking knowledge (routing, NAT, firewall, VLAN).
