About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team as a Platform Automation Specialist. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is highly available, secure, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement infrastructure automation at scale for our engineering teams using tools like Terraform and Helm.
  • Build and maintain fault-tolerant and highly available Kubernetes clusters.
  • Drive positive change in deployment frequency, lead time to change, change failure rate, and mean time to restore metrics.
  • Consult with and educate engineers on cloud infrastructure and software engineering best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience building production-scale backend services, CLI tools, or infrastructural components such as Kubernetes operators (preferably in Go or Python).
  • Experience working with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP) and its services.
  • Good knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Strong asynchronous communication and collaboration skills.
