Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Train Dispatcher to join our team at DB Zeitarbeit GmbH. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our rail network.
Your Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control train movements, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Issue instructions to train drivers to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Operate and maintain all available control and technical systems.
- Record and investigate disruptions and their causes, using our control systems to assign delays.
- Complete final processing of BVU disruptions in accordance with established criteria.
- Plan and coordinate rail services in your assigned area of responsibility.
- Authorize deviations from waiting time regulations and unplanned stops for rail services.
Your Profile:
- You hold a completed education or degree in railway operations or a related field, or have significant experience in a comparable role.
- You are willing to work shifts.
- You possess excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills, as well as high stress resistance.
- Your strong presence, enthusiasm for your work, and effective communication skills complete your profile.
