Job Title: Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of Automatic Identification System (AIS) and Personal Locator System (PLS) systems, sub-systems, and equipment.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the development of AIS and PLS systems, sub-systems, and equipment, including systems architecture provided by external suppliers.
  • Responsible for general-purpose embedded computer development.
  • Specify systems considering safety, quality, systems performance, cost, environmental, operational, and industrial requirements.
  • Monitor, review, and validate supplier deliverables.
Your Profile:
  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, physics, aerospace, or a comparable field.
  • Long-year professional experience in systems and equipment engineering is mandatory.
  • Knowledge in Model-Based Systems Engineering is necessary.
  • Expertise in AIS and PLS systems for at least 5 years.
  • Experience in digital ICD and electrical installation design tools (e.g., CAMEO, ICDMS) would be a plus.
  • Experience implementing regulations and standards like DO178/278, 254, ARP4754, and others related to sensor equipment is needed.
  • Very good knowledge of English.
