Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of Automatic Identification System (AIS) and Personal Locator System (PLS) systems, sub-systems, and equipment. You will work closely with our team to specify, design, and implement these systems, ensuring they meet the required safety, quality, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of AIS and PLS systems, sub-systems, and equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to specify and design systems
  • Implement systems architecture provided by external suppliers
  • Monitor and review supplier deliverables

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, physics, aerospace, or a comparable field
  • Long-year professional experience in systems and equipment engineering
  • Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering
  • Expertise in AIS and PLS systems
  • Experience with digital ICD and electrical installation design tools
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards related to sensor equipment
  • Very good knowledge of English
