Advanced Void Detection Techniques for Power Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for developing innovative methods for void measurement under temperature-stressed semiconductor modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze existing measurement methods for void detection under power semiconductor modules and assess the current state of the art.
  • Design and develop new measurement methods that provide reliable results even at elevated temperatures.
  • Implement an experimental setup for testing and validation of the developed methods.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings.
  • Conduct experiments and validate the developed measurement methods.
  • Collaborate with the research team and other relevant departments.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a technical degree program, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in software such as Zeiss Optical Inspect and experience with optical 3D measurement technology.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and structured.
