Spacecraft Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Spacecraft Analyst to join our team at LSE Space. As a key member of our Spacecraft Operations Team, you will be responsible for maintaining spacecraft and ground segment operational databases, developing custom software tools, and providing spacecraft control support during special operations.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update spacecraft and ground segment operational databases, related tools, procedures, and documentation under strict configuration control.
- Develop and maintain custom software tools required for efficient and effective mission planning and preparation tasks.
- Organize, train, and ensure the operational readiness of spacecraft controllers assigned to the mission, in collaboration with other analysts.
- Collect information and data regarding mission performance and provide inputs for mission reports.
- Provide spacecraft control support during special operations when the assigned controller complement is insufficient to meet mission requirements.
- Support the generation of operational reports based on inputs from other FCT members.
- Consolidate and archive telemetry data.
- Support the development and integration logic for flight operations, data processing centers, services, and operational interfaces.
- Contribute to routine mission plan generation, as required.
- A degree in Aerospace engineering or a similar subject.
- Experience with the EGS-CC and SCOS-2000.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server) and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Knowledge of office automation tools, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
- Knowledge of the Linux environment, including interactive shells and shell scripting.
- Programming experience (Python, VB, VBA, JavaScript).
- Fluent in English, both in speech and writing.
