Meteosat Spacecraft Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Spacecraft Operations Specialist to join our team at LSE Space. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of Meteosat spacecraft, ensuring strict adherence to operational procedures and protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage weekly mission schedules and operational plans, providing reports on mission performance and progress.
- Analyze telemetry data and mission logs to identify trends, detect anomalies, and support troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain and update operational documentation, including procedures, configuration control, and versioning.
- Act as the Duty Analyst, providing on-call support for emergency situations and overseeing contingency procedures.
- Coordinate with EUMETSAT's technical teams to manage system improvements, updates, and operational changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in satellite or spacecraft operations, particularly in control or analyst roles.
- Proficiency in telemetry analysis and anomaly investigation, with the ability to perform mission planning and data analysis.
- Experience with operational tools such as GEMS, SMART, or similar mission control systems.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and provide thorough troubleshooting support.
