Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth studies on mechanisms to prevent age-related diseases using C. elegans as the model organism.

Your Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Be an enthusiastic and highly motivated postdoc with a genuine interest in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and aging research.
- Prior experience in stem cell research or C. elegans models is an asset, though not essential.
- Excel in verbal and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrate proactive, flexible, and adept problem-solving abilities.

Our group is interested in studying how alterations in the crosstalk between RNA and protein metabolism contribute to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a fatal neurodegenerative disease that remains incurable. Our laboratory uses an innovative approach based on a combination of patient-derived stem cells with genetics in the model organisms C. elegans to understand mechanisms that can prevent age-related diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
