Our Electric Drive System Team in Munich is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of NVH Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of E-drive system NVH performance, focusing on mechanical parts.
• Conduct and analyze NVH testing, including vehicle testing on a track or chassis dynamometer, and E-drive system bench testing.
• Perform acoustic and vibration analysis, including subjective evaluation of noise and vibration quality, objective data analysis, frequency analysis, order analysis, modulation analysis, psychoacoustic analysis, modal analysis, and transfer path analysis.
• Identify and resolve NVH issues through root cause analysis.
• Develop engineering requirements for improved NVH performance.
• Review NVH designs for E-drive system products.
• Collaborate with CAE/design teams to optimize development workflows.
• Work with vehicle integration engineers to ensure proper E-drive system SSTS.
• Participate in NVH seminars and provide technical training for the E-drive system development team.
• Provide technical support to plant NVH engineers for NVH issue resolution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of noise, vibration, and psychoacoustics.
• Experience with E-drive system development from concept to launch.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering, signal processing, design, and manufacturing processes for mechanical and E-drive system components.
• Experience with LMS, Testlab, or Head ArtemiS.
• Experience with EOL NVH testing and tuning.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
