About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fund Operations Manager - Semi-Liquids to join our team at Moonfare. As a key member of our Fund Operations team, you will play a crucial role in the development and launch of our new European semi-liquid offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational implementation of our new European private markets semi-liquid program, a key objective for 2024.
  • Collaborate with our Head of Fund Operations to establish a common operating framework for managing the semi-liquid offer, including portfolio optimization, valuation procedures, liquidity management, and risk management.
  • Provide reporting, valuation, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
  • Work on innovative private markets products and streamline and automate internal processes.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial spirit to drive new initiatives and investigate new business opportunities and products for Moonfare.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience with semi-liquid funds and servicing these, as well as broad knowledge of private markets.
  • Strong work ethic with a constant curiosity and a desire to learn and succeed.
  • Project Management experience (Jira is a plus) with a keen attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with database systems such as Tableau/fund admin tools/portfolio management tools.
  • You value teamwork, structure, and bring a positive mindset to work.
  • You're a clear and concise communicator with fluency in English.
