Job Summary

The Applications Engineer will serve as the technical liaison between Sales, Operations, Research and Development, Sustaining Engineering, and Product Line Management to support existing and new technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical standards for engineering, sales, and operations in the region.
  • Generate sales and increase revenue at the regional level through the sale of products and services.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and thorough end-of-well reports on a timely basis.
  • Work in compliance with ISO, API, and SCC standards.
  • Install advanced completion tools and equipment according to operating procedures.
  • Perform advanced downhole hydraulic calculations.
  • Prepare JSA for wellsite operations.
  • Work unsupervised and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems.
  • Participate in CAT teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Be available on a 24-hour call basis as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as instructed by the Operations Manager/Field Service Manager.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of field experience or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of application engineering experience or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
Working Environment

The Applications Engineer will work within an established geographical area to generate new business, increase revenue, and service existing customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of on-location rigs, coiled tubing tools, completion tools, and liner hanger systems.

They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
