Are you a motivated student looking to gain valuable experience in data analysis? Deutsche Börse AG is seeking a talented Junior Data Processing Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will allow you to work closely with our Customer Compliance Team, supporting them in various data-related tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in testing data sets within our in-house application, ensuring that they meet predefined requirements. You will also play a crucial role in detecting and documenting any errors or anomalies, taking ownership of the issue until it is resolved.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the review and improvement of VBA macros, assisting the team in debugging and fixing errors. Furthermore, you will explore alternative data processing methods, including testing with Python.

As a Junior Data Processing Specialist, you will have the chance to work on diverse projects, developing your skills and expertise in data analysis and processing. If you are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, this role is an excellent fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create data sets in MS Excel according to a standard template and test them in our in-house processing tool to verify that outputs meet predefined requirements.
  • Detect and document any detected errors or anomalies, taking ownership of the issue until it is resolved.
  • Contribute to the review and improvement of VBA macros, assisting the team in debugging and fixing errors.
  • Explore alternative data processing methods, including testing with Python.
  • Assist the team in processing, reconciling, and analyzing data sets, as well as automating data processing.
Requirements:
  • You must be enrolled at a state-recognized university and have completed at least 2 semesters.
  • Your focus should be in the field of economics, finance, business studies, or other relevant fields.
  • You should possess strong knowledge of MS Office Applications, especially MS Excel.
  • You should have a solid understanding of VBA and Python, with the ability to process data sets using these tools.
  • You should be fluent in written and spoken English, with proficiency in German being an advantage.
