Culinary Excellence at Fotografiska Berlin GmbH
Fotografiska Berlin GmbH is seeking a skilled Preparation Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our team, you will assist in driving culinary excellence across the business, helping to define and execute high standards for our Bakery, Cafe, and Verönika Restaurant & Bar culinary program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all culinary requirements in the preparation of seasonal, sustainable, innovative, and wellness-focused menus.
- Manage through ambiguity and support all Fotografiska departments to enhance member and guest experience.
- Maintain standard recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation, ensuring consistently high quality and minimizing food costs.
- Ensure prep lists are completed by the end of shift and communicate any product shortages to the team.
- Implement all HACCP safety programs across all kitchens.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Preparation Cook in concept-driven kitchens.
- Ability to maintain recipes, portion specifications, and standard preparation procedures for all dishes.
- Knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques, as well as food costs and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
