Job Title: Controller for Operations and Finance

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our team in one of our main production areas. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a vital role in supporting production and ensuring we meet demand growth while evaluating investment scenarios and process optimizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for controlling in one of the main production areas.
  • Actively support production as a commercial sparring partner to keep up with demand growth and evaluate investment scenarios and process optimizations.
  • Responsible for the P&L and balance sheet of the production area.
  • Work closely with all production functions and derive measures to optimize processes and the efficiency of the value stream.
  • Responsible for regular monitoring of key performance indicators, increasing transparency, and deviation analysis.
  • Structure, identify, and present budget planning, forecasting, monthly reporting to stakeholders.
  • Proactively ensure data quality, seek improvement potentials, and optimize controlling systems and tools.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration or related fields (e.g., industrial engineering, business informatics) with a focus on finance / controlling.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a controller in a manufacturing company.
  • Very good knowledge of SAP (especially FI/CO), a good understanding of processes, as well as good knowledge of the MS Office package (especially Excel), BI/AO, and QLIK are desirable.
  • Affinity and enthusiasm for a wide variety of production processes.
  • High demand for data and decision quality, reliability of systems, and pronounced analytical thinking with the ability to quickly understand complex issues.
  • Willingsness to take responsibility (proactive action; taking the initiative to complete tasks).
  • Flexibility, independent working methods, teamwork, and a high level of commitment, ambition, and resilience.
  • Fluent German language skills.
