About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Bakery team at REWE. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our Bakery department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including ingredients, nutritional information, and preparation methods.
  • Contribute to the visual merchandising of the Bakery department, ensuring that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
